Why we charge for profiles, not emails

How OneTrace.pro pricing works — profile bands, included emails and events, overage without blocking and prepayment discounts.

When choosing a pricing model, we looked at two extremes of the market. Email services charge per email — simple, but it does not reflect the value of segments, predictions and journeys. Large CDPs sell “by request” — fair for enterprises, but opaque for an online store with 20,000 customers.

Profile bands

The plan price depends on the band — the largest number of profiles in the project: 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 thousand and up. Deleted and merged profiles do not count. Users per project are unlimited.

Included emails and events

Every plan includes 10 emails from our mail service and 100 events per profile in the band per month. For a band of up to 50,000 profiles, that is 500,000 emails and 5 million events — plenty for most stores.

Overage without blocking

If you send more emails or collect more events, work does not stop: the overage goes on a separate invoice at the start of the next month, and you get a warning at 90% and 100% of the included volume. A hard limit only kicks in at three times the included volume — protection against an integration bug and an unexpected bill.

Discounts and the trial

Prepay six months for 10% off, a year for 20% off. Instead of a free plan there is a 14-day Growth trial with sending limits: free bulk email attracts spammers and hurts the reputation of shared sending addresses.

All prices are on the pricing page, with a calculator by the number of profiles.
